Hi, we're The Jellied Reels, a Bristol-based Ceilidh and Barn Dance Band with a non-traditional attitude to traditional tunes.

Our line up of Squeezebox, Guitar, Bass and Drums gives the band a good stompy feel with plenty of rhythm for the dancing.  We also "call" the dances, which means we tell you the moves before you start and then remind you as the dance progresses. It's easy! :-)

We have an energetic and engaging style but we are totally professional when it comes to making sure your event goes as well as possible

The News

Hi Dai
We have a new member! Dai's been doing the "dep guitar" job for a few months and we like him so much that we asked him to join. Unfortunately his and Dave's commitments will mean that it will take a while before both of them can play all of our gigs so "normal" will be 4 people but occasionally, and more often as we go along, there will be five of us. Dai is young, about 13, we think, and brings a bit of "dah yoof" to the band :-)

We've ocasionally have afew problems with emails bouncing replies. We hate to appear rude so please include a phone number when you email us and at least we can call you if we can't get an email through. Thanks.
