	EXTEND provides recreational movement to music for men and women over-sixty and for less able people of all ages. Our mission is to promote health, increase mobility and independence, improve strength, co-ordination and balance and to counteract loneliness and isolation, thereby enhancing the Quality of Life Over the years EXTEND has trained over 3,000 teachers of which 1249 are in circulation and, of those, 453 hold classes that are open to the public. This year we are Celebrating 30 years of EXTEND EXTEND teachers attended a special training event at Bisham Abbey for a report and photographs of this happy occasion Click Here
Find a class in your area by clicking on the picture above and to see what fun we have CLICK HERE	Open classes run by EXTEND teachers are held in locations accessible to those in greatest need in our communities in England, Scotland and Republic of Ireland - in GP surgeries, village halls, schools, sheltered housing schemes, day centres and sports centres. We are in contact with representatives in Southern Ireland, France,Cyprus, Romania, New Zealand and South Africa.
