Centre for Public Engagement

About us

Photos of CPE activities The Centre for Public Engagement (CPE) seeks to engage closely with all sections of the community (both internally as well as externally) to assist with the running and promotion of the many and varied activities of the University of Bristol.

A considerable number of our academic departments, as well as a large number of our students, have long experience of two-way interaction with the public. It is the role of the CPE to act as a resource for researchers, academics and University departments for their community engagement activities as well as develop and organise events to showcase the University research.

The Centre for Public Engagement produces What's On (PDF, 250KB) - a monthly guide listing concerts, public lectures, sporting events, university tours and what's going on at the Wickham Theatre. For a hard copy, please email: outreach-ce@bristol.ac.uk with your name, address and postcode.
