A happy, caring and stimulating learning environment
New school, new start
Located in a brand new, inspirational, £36 million building, Redland Green School has capacity for 945 11-16 year-olds, 450 post 16 students, and dedicated facilities for 50 students with learning difficulties.
Mission statement
Redland Green School is a happy, caring and stimulating learning community in which everyone’s achievements are valued unconditionally and excellence is celebrated.
Welcome from Headteacher Sarah Baker

We are now settled into our wonderful new school, which is fast becoming a vibrant centre of learning for students, as well as the wider community. Redland Green School is unusual in that it has three components: the 11-16 school; the North Bristol Post 16 Centre; plus the purpose built Claremont School facility, which is co-located on the site and provides a learning community for students with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
In September 2008 we will have students in Years 7, 8 and 9, with our second cohort of post 16 students in Year 12 joining our first Year 13. Long campaigned for by the local community, the superb new facilities at Redland Green have been built to serve that community. I hope that you will enjoy finding out more about a school where everyone is totally committed to ensuring its success.![]()
